A Friend of Medjugorje Gives Beautiful Behind-the-Scenes Description of Tonight’s Apparition

 

Tonight, June 19, 2024, Marija arrived at the statue of Our Lady on top of Apparition Hill at 9:15 P.M.  We sang and then started to pray the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary.

 

Again, Marija had the St. Francis Prayer for Peace prayed in several languages before beginning the second Rosary.

 

During the 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys and 7 Glory Be prayers, Our Lady came at 11:33 P.M. and the apparition lasted several minutes.  The following is Marija’s description of the apparition.

 

“Tonight, when Our Lady came, She prayed in Aramaic, Her Mother language.

 

I recommended to the Blessed Mother all of us, all that we carry in our hearts and all those that asked us to pray for them.

 

In a special way, I asked Our Dear Mother to intercede in front of Her Son Jesus for peace in the world.

 

Our Lady prayed over us and She gave us Her Motherly Blessing and thanked us for all our sacrifices we offered for Her intentions.

 

And She said:

 

“We will see each other tomorrow at the same place, at the same time.”

 

And then She left for Heaven.”

 

The Bishop from the Ukraine was again present tonight beside Marija and gave everyone his blessing.

For those of you who have been to Caritas of Birmingham when Marija has had her apparitions there, you will take delight in hearing that Our Lady said tonight, June 19^th, from up top Apparition Mountain:  “Same time, same place.” It is an endearing expression that Our Lady has said many times in Her Alabama apparitions to Marija.

 

A Friend of Medjugorje, who arrived in Medjugorje yesterday, went to see Marija right before she was leaving to go to the mountain this evening. She greeted him warmly, happy to see him, and they began walking down the road towards Apparition Mountain from her driveway.

 

And then she started to pray.  She prayed one Hail Mary after another all the way down the road walking towards the path to the mountain and she continued to pray Hail Marys.

 

She wasn’t praying them silently. Her voice was strong and vibrant.

 

People noticed her as she walked by and she would wave, but she didn’t stop to speak to anyone. She just continued to pray Hail Marys.

 

Marija’s familiar voice could be heard above the noise in the street and above everyone else’s conversations.  Many stopped to see who it was who was praying in such a strong voice. When they saw it was Marija, they began to follow her, joining her in praying Hail Marys.

 

Marija and a Friend of Medjugorje began to climb Apparition Hill at a steady pace. Marija climbed, praying Hail Mary after Hail Mary.

 

More joined the ever-growing group of people around Marija, who continued leading the group with her strong voice and determined countenance up to the statue of Our Lady at the top of the mountain.

 

A Friend of Medjugorje, who has been with Marija in so many different situations was moved by her energized spirit. Since he had joined her up at her house, she had not stopped praying Hail Marys, all out loud. Her witness moved the spirits of everyone who saw her to a deeper and more intense prayer. She was mobilizing prayer everywhere she went.

 

This was no social gathering for Marija. She had come to pray. At Our Lady’s statue, Marija continued to pray Hail Marys until finally, she began praying the Rosary.

 

After the apparition and Marija’s description was relayed to all those present, Marija again, began praying Hail Mary’s. A Friend of Medjugorje came down the mountain with her, and she never stopped. The Hail Marys kept coming.

 

As they walked down the road back towards her house, more Hail Marys. When they arrived back to her house, she continued to pray Hail Marys as she entered her home.

 

A Friend of Medjugorje said Marija’s witness was incredible. He said something was stirring Marija very deeply in a way that he had never seen in her before. When he left her, he asked if she would be going up Apparition Mountain at 5:00 A.M. the next morning. She said, “Yes, we go to pray.”

 

He described her as being filled with spiritual energy and he was certain that she would be continuing her Hail Mary prayers the next day just as he witnessed tonight.

 

Also worth mentioning is the numbers of Croatians who are climbing the mountain every night. It is beautiful to see. For whatever reason, the singing at the top of the mountain is only in the Croatian language, a change from what is normal in the mountain apparitions.

 

No one is singing in English or Italian or French or other languages. All one hears is thousands of Croatians singing hymns to Our Lady. There are many, many young Croatians coming as well.

 

It feels like the early days of Medjugorje and one wonders if one of Our Lady’s intentions is to bring renewal and conversion to the Croatian people, a people that She has called “chosen.”

 

A Friend of Medjugorje’s beautiful description of Marija’s own response to Our Lady’s invitation to dedicate more time to prayer in these days leading to Her anniversary, has given all of us inspiration to follow in her witness. Many have expressed concern to us that they don’t know what prayers to be praying leading up to the time of Our Lady’s apparition each night. Perhaps everyone will be reassured by Marija’s Hail Mary litany. A Friend of Medjugorje reiterated once more what Our Lady is asking for. Our Lady has called people to the mountain for nine days. If one is in Medjugorje, they should be on the mountain with Our Lady. This is where She has called for people to meet.

 

If you are not in Medjugorje, go to Adoration or to your backyard or gather in front of your home altar, but be united in prayer at the same time that Our Lady is appearing on the mountain in Medjugorje.

 

All four mysteries of the Rosary are being prayed on the mountain before Our Lady’s apparition every night. The intention for which Our Lady is asking for these prayers and sacrifices is for peace–peace in our hearts, peace in our families and peace in the world.

 

Our Lady has made it clear that She desires more and more people to join Her in this prayer for peace and so we should be active in spreading this information and inviting people to join in this prayer in these days leading up to Our Lady’s anniversary. This is all one needs to know regarding this special request of Our Lady.
