The Dream Role
Never dreamed of the role he would play
Betrothed to a woman married one day
Fair to say this story is rather wild
The Virgin Mary is with child
Joseph was a just and hard working man
Carpenter, hammer and chisel in hand
Soon to carve out a place in history
A master piece of Divine Mystery
Immaculate Mary conceived without sin
Vessel of the Son of God, Holy Virgin
By the Holy Spirit she conceived
Queen of the Divine Mystery
The Angel of the Lord in a dream
Son of David take the hand of Mary

The Gift of the infant child at Christmas
A child born of flesh and pure spirit, the spirit of God. A Godchild born out of pure sinless Love, pure flesh of Mary, joy destined to save, to sacrifice all for Love beyond understanding, Loves pure self manifests the purest desire for a creature unworthy.
Followers behold, small infant face, perfect soul this Godly fragrance all beauty. Now bow down near His manger, adore and smell His sweetness, God’s Holy Fragrant gift, and in so doing become that fragrance that Love wills for all. No worthy offering I bring only this sinful soul, who through complete Love Your gift created, take it to Your Heart, all that I can offer the poor gift that I am.
God, I am Your creature child born, devoid of all grace, gifted with life through love and only if You will it gifted through life with life-giving grace. Oh my God my God You, only You come to me with such tender mercy, the mercy of Your birth through Love, forgiveness through redemption, through the loving face of our infant Jesus. Show me how to offer that face, bless and allow me with Your grace to become a child of Christmas.
I kiss Your sweet face and pray this through my beloved Lord Jesus. Peace, the only understanding. +
