Our Lady appeared to Ivan during his prayer group meeting on top of Apparition Mountain at 10:00 p.m. tonight, June 17, 2013. The prayer group began singing a little before 9:00 p.m. At around 9:15 p.m., Ivan started the Joyful and Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary. Our Lady appeared to Ivan around 10:00 p.m. and the apparition lasted for several minutes. Several thousand pilgrims were present for the apparition. Below is Ivan’s description of the apparition.
“I would like to use this opportunity after this meeting together with Our Lady to also describe to you tonight’s meeting. Also tonight, Our Lady came to us very joyful and happy. She came with three angels. At the beginning, She greeted all of us with Her Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus my dear children.’ Then She extended Her arms and for a longer time prayed over all of us. In a special way, She prayed for the sick present here and over all the priests present. Then Our Lady said:
“Then I recommended all of you, all of your needs, your intentions, your families and in a special way, the sick. Our Lady continued to pray for all of us for a while with Her arms extended and left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross, with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’”

Our Lady’s apparition to Ivan tonight in Medjugorje, July 17, 2013, took place on top of Apparition Mountain rather than the site of the Blue Cross, and pilgrims began climbing long before sunset. For some pilgrims, the climb is long, slow and painful, but rarely does a look of frustration come upon their faces. It is an act of love and devotion they make in climbing the rocky mountain to the site of Our Lady’s apparition. Remarkably, those who make the greatest sacrifices to reach Our Lady are often the ones who receive the greatest joy through Her presence. It’s just as the old adage says, “You can’t out give God.” Our Lady, always the Good Mother, has Her ways to say “thank you.”
Our Lady said tonight, on Apparition Mountain during Ivan’s prayer group, “…The Mother prays together with you and intercedes for all of you before Her Son…” Can we comprehend this great grace that Our Lady is praying “with us,” that She is entering into all of our difficulties, our problems, our struggles and weaknesses, our failures, our concerns—however big or small they are, and She goes to speak on our behalf to Her Son? This young girl was present at Our Lady’s apparition tonight, not knowing what Our Lady was going to say. But what consolation is hers tonight after pouring out her heart in prayer, to hear Our Lady’s words above. On November 25, 1987, Our Lady said:

“In some way, by your listening to Our Lady and doing as She asks you to do, She can go before God and present you to Him in a way that She cannot if you are not living Her words. She says it is ‘only’ through your surrender that She can continue to present you to God. This ‘presentation’ is unique for our time.”

Sitting on top of Apparition Mountain, praying and singing, looking over the village of Medjugorje at sunset while the stars begin to come out, sensing the time of Our Lady’s apparition approaching—there is a deep “peace” that settles in one’s heart. Our Lady spoke of peace tonight. In fact She said the word six times. Yet, often when Our Lady emphasizes the word “peace” it is a warning to pray for peace in order to thwart a threat that She sees coming towards us. Our Lady once said that She waits impatiently for the time of peace that is coming.

A Friend of Medjugorje says, “It is a time of Peace! However, peace and evil cannot coexist. We must realize this peace will come with a price, for we cannot just expect evil to disappear on its own. The martyrs of the early Christian Church purchased peace by placing their blood with Jesus’. We would be foolish to think this time of peace is going to come as man’s concept of peace. Yet Our Lady still says She waits for this time.”* When Our Lady asks us to pray for peace, it is for our good that we do as She asks. We should all make a commitment to pray every day for peace leading up to Our Lady’s June 25 anniversary and after.
Following Our Lady’s 32nd Anniversary of Her apparitions in Medjugorje, visionary Marija Lunetti will be traveling to the United States to be present for the Five Days of Prayer, July 1-5, 2013 at Caritas in Alabama. It is a time to pray for peace for ourselves, our families and our nation, to be in the presence of the Queen of Peace in five apparitions. It will be an incredible, grace-filled experience with eternal consequences for every individual present, as well as for the United States and its future. We encourage all those who can come, even from other countries, to be present here as “one single people where the Word of God is listened to and carried out,” in Our Lady’s words of June 2, 2013.

Thanks our Blessed Mother Mary for your apparitions. I feel connected to Her more especially when you remain obedient to Her Son”s will and do what She asks of you. I really feel Her presence in my life especially, when you consecrate your entire family, and all you do to Her and ask Her to guide and walk with you. Our Mother, fights battles for you and protects you from the enemy. If only, all Catholics and Christians could know how powerful Our Mother is and the role She plays in our lives, this place would be a wonderful place for all to live in with so much PEACE in our hearts. It is good to read the messages that Our Blessed Lady says. We should all of us, everywhere, put our lives and hearts into the hands of Our Lady and never look back. Amen.

I am blessed to be able to get this email concerning Our Lady. At 40 an hour time I knelt and said some decades of the Rosary. I have a picture of Her in my bedroom. May the peace of Our Lady come to all of us. Amen

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to be in prayer at the exact time Our Lady is appearing. I feel blessed beyond words. This is my fourth time being in Alabama for the apparitions. I feel that everyone that goes was chosen by Our Blessed Mother.
