How Can Medjugorje be Condemned?

Scanning and researching twenty-eight years of apparitions…

COMING SOON!!

A new menu button, “Church Approval”, and sub-buttons under this category will be released in the next few weeks on Medjugorje.com. Scanning and researching twenty-eight years of apparitions, two-years in compiling, it is a most extensive collection of information in regard to Church approval. It includes both the spiritual and human reasons for the Church not yet approving Medjugorje, as well as the obstacles that have happened which prevents approval to this point.

The following is a quote written by one of the Community of Caritas members, followed by a quote of a Friend of Medjugorje from one section of Church Approval.

I can’t help but think of our founder’s words (a Friend of Medjugorje) that he has often said to those who were anxious about Medjugorje being approved by the Church.

“How can Medjugorje be condemned? Seminaries around the world are filled with those who received their vocation through Medjugorje. Daily Mass communicants and Adoration Chapels are filled by those who were touched by the grace of Medjugorje. Who belonged to prayer groups before Medjugorje, until Our Lady Herself requested prayer groups to start? To deny Medjugorje, to condemn Medjugorje, the Church would have to deny and condemn millions of vocations, conversions, healings, the return to the faith of multitudes of people around the world. Medjugorje is everywhere in the Church. Its influence can be seen everywhere.”

In the next few weeks, the “Church Approval” section on Medjugorje.com will be added to the menu. It is the answer for those who want an answer. For those who do not want an answer, even the final verdict of the Church’s approval will not be an answer. For after approval they will say the Church does not require belief in the apparitions of Medjugorje for one’s salvation. So, for some, there will never be an answer.

Final proofing of Church Approval as a menu item will continue for a few more weeks. This extensive project is only one of many projects that are actively being developed for Medjugorje.com, thanks to our Core Group Members’ help and a foundational group of Caritas, called Field Angels. Their support, both financially and spiritually, are helping bring the expansion of Medjugorje.com about, making this vital information available to all for free.

  1. Thank you for writing this article, being Indian and brought up in the Catholic faith we always envied the Christian and Catholic nations. Our Lady is seeing to it through Medjugorje that She brings these nations back. We have to turn back to our faith and belief in Christ; without which we are with satan. Our Lady is alive and it’s a tremendous calling through Medjugorje that She is slowly and surely doing what Her Son Jesus wants. We need that catechism be taught again openly and that we need not feel ashamed to believe in Christ. America and the Catholic nations have to acknowledge Christ again. We should not refrain from mention of Jesus in our public life. God Bless you in your work and May Our Lady guide you to bring many more back to Her.

  2. I don’t care if the church approves it or not..I believe what is going on there..All the messages coming out of Mejugorje are for the good of mankind..If they start preaching hate, discord among people and division then I’ll question it..If anybody is speaking for Jesus..How can they be against him..I can see the church being cautious..But after 30 years of apparitions it’s time the church gets their act together…Regards, Andre.

The new site on “Church Approval” sounds wonderful. Of course we are anxious for approval, but in God’s time. If we have faith, that will sustain us until then. If we follow our Lady’s messages in “Words From Heaven”, that is our sustenance. Caritas has done so much to help us spiritually. Our trip to Medjugorje last fall was the highlight of our lives, and God willing, we will be there again this fall. We will see you in Alabama in July. Keep us and the world informed.May Mejlist reach its goal

  7. My daughter and I went on a 12 day pilgrimage to Medjugorje with the faith-filled members of Caritas in Oct-November 2009. When we returned home, our personal conversions spread to our family and continue to this day. My granddaughter was baptized in Feb, 2010. Members of our family/friends, Lutherans and non-affiliated, who were not attending church, now attend Mass weekly. Some are attending weekly Bible studies in a Catholic parish, some are exploring RCIA: Spirit-filled conversions!

  8. Iwill say , we should not be discourage in the weeks they will investigate, but pray for the ?Holy Spirit to ascend upon on them . Ibelieve medjugorje is an extention from Fatima. It is been said that evil will even penetrate the church and our Blessed lady is leading us to deep prayer life so we know how to discern the times.

  9. Really enjoy these emails but this one in particular. I am glad and thankful that you are working on a new menu item for Church Approval items. As Catholics we get so used to looking to the Church for all the answers. Which is what we are supposed to do but sometimes the Church makes us just go on faith and to see the fruit of spiritual things. If God wanted the Church to have approved this years ago, He would have done so. But it is a matter of one’s own faith. Thank you so much.
