Medjugorje Headline

A good pilgrimage does not just happen.

BVM Caritas’ pilgrimage program was foundationed by a Friend of Medjugorje five years after the first apparition. He threaded into these trips a completeness which has led, by God’s grace, to deep conversions of souls for over 30 years.

A Friend of Medjugorje realized and wrote in the middle 1980s about Medjugorje’s magnitude stating:

“Medjugorje is the central point for the spiritual rebirth of the world. An exciting place to become part of the history of eternity.”

Here below is a short update about our “Medjugorje” experience at Caritas of Birmingham.

A Friend of Medjugorje welcomed the pilgrims, giving advice as they began their pilgrimage:

Thank you, thank you to Our Lady. She brings us together and bonds us in a way that we can’t be [bonded] without Her.

We are in a serious moment and happy moment at the same time. So I’m glad you’re here.

This is an investment. People put their money in stock markets. They put it in businesses and they want a return. It’s up to you what you put into this week with what you will leave with. Very profound graces. In The Poem of the Man-God, Maria Valtorta, who wrote about Jesus’ life, writes of when He was walking to Via Dolorosa to go to His crucifixion, He knew His time was up. There was a bunch of lepers on top of a hill and He didn’t even ask them if they wanted to be healed, He just cured them. And this is where we are right before the 40th anniversary. Our Lady is with us giving every grace – just throwing it out to us, if you’re open to it.

So I hope you have a beautiful week. We’ve been praying for you already and remember: what you put in to this, you get back.

Over 100 pilgrims from all over the United States arrive at Caritas, Tuesday, June 22, 2021, for the first day of the organized 40th anniversary pilgrimage. Many more will be coming to these grounds for the 24th and 25th.
Pilgrims were given more insight into Our Lady’s plans in this special location that a Friend of Medjugorje had previously only shared with the community.

Much history is shared with BVM Caritas pilgrims, but it is shared not just to give facts, but to help bring an awareness of how God’s plans for the salvation of the world have been unfolding through time in Medjugorje and through more than 204 apparitions of Our Lady at Caritas.

Many today are seeking peace. They are in desperate situations. A Friend of Medjugorje has stated for decades that the grounds of Caritas are places of conversion, not devotion. After just one day on pilgrimage at Caritas a pilgrim stated:

“I should have come a long time ago. I didn’t know it (Caritas) was so much like Medjugorje.”

A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in 1993 about how to not be complacent:

“Obviously, God has sent Our Lady because man is in a desperate situation. He is on an inescapable path of destruction without divine intervention.”

A Friend of Medjugorje wrote in 1998 in the short book, “A Time for Decision”:

“Many want a good society, passing laws to ‘force’ a better society, but it excludes God. It is impossible to foster a healthy society without God.”

Another pilgrim stated, “This place is so important to the world.”

We are continuing to pray for all of our supporters and friends, especially our Project 50 Field Angels. We are praying in a special way for all those who those who send in their petitions here. If you have not had a chance to, be sure to join in the retreat by visiting here and choosing one of the Countdown to the 40th anniversary broadcasts.
