Over 100,000 copies worldwide, Words from Heaven is the most-comprehensive published collection of the messages of Medjugorje which exists.
(Caritas, Alabama) – The 20th edition of Words from Heaven, by a Friend of Medjugorje, which is the most complete Medjugorje message book, has been officially released in a Special 30 Year Anniversary Edition!
A Caritas Community member stated:
“Even if you have a copy of the 19th edition, we encourage you to give that one away to a friend, and get yourself a copy of the new 20th edition. A Friend of Medjugorje has made his life the messages, and we in the mission and Community, following in his witness do the same. One of the first things we do here at Caritas is update all of our chapels, vehicles, homes and offices with the newest version.”
Over 100,000 copies of Words from Heaven have been distributed worldwide since a Friend of Medjugorje wrote this book in 1990. The current 20th Special Edition of Words from Heaven, contains over 2,000 messages which Our Lady has given in Medjugorje. The book includes, as always, 4 parts:
Parts 1-3 Include:
- 13 Chapters in which a Friend of Medjugorje gives the most important information to understand Medjugorje and Our Lady’s messages
Part 4 Includes:
- Early Messages and Annual Messages of Our Lady from 1981 to the Current Year
- Weekly Messages from 1984 to 1987
- Monthly Messages through Marija from 1987 to May 2020
- Prayer Group Messages from 1988 to May 2020
- Second of the Month Messages from 1990 to 2020
- American Messages Given through Marija from 1988-2019
- Interior Locution Messages Given through Jelena and Marijana from 1982-1990

The current version uses the same original format which a Friend of Medjugorje first put together in 1990, and is approximately 1100 pages. Words from Heaven is printed on a special paper which makes the book smaller in size than a normal 1000 page book. Words from Heaven, is printed and bound at Caritas of Birmingham, in Alabama. There is a limited first-run of the printed copy of Words from Heaven, which can be purchased online here, or by calling Caritas in the U.S. at 205-672-2000. Those dialing from outside the United States can dial, 001-205-672-2000. A second printing is being scheduled in the next few weeks. It is encourages for people to get their copy now before the first-run is exhausted.

Mateboho, In answer to your question below, A Friend of Medjugorje says that praying with the heart is like the times when you really needed something from someone, and was begging them for a favor or gift. It is the same way with God. Praying with the heart is with all your heart talking to God, without pretense, and being real and honest before God. Praying to God, not only to ask something, but simply because you love Him only increases the prayer with the heart. – Caritas
Listened for the first time, it was wonderful. Please that Our Lady change my heart that I learn to forgive. Can a friend teach me how to pray? What does it mean by praying by heart? Please explain. May Our Lady help me to open my heart. Oh please
